
Real Madrid delivered an outstanding attacking performance at the Santiago Bernabéu, defeating Real Betis 5–1 in an entertaining La Liga clash led by a brilliant hat-trick from Gonzalo García.
Los Blancos entered the match looking for revenge after their previous defeat against Betis earlier in the season, when the Andalusian side secured a 2–1 victory at home. Despite missing Kylian Mbappé through injury, Real Madrid arrived with confidence and intensity from the opening minutes.

As the first half progressed, Real Madrid’s defense proved extremely difficult for Betis to break through. The away side struggled to move beyond midfield consistently, while Madrid repeatedly found ways to create dangerous attacks.
The breakthrough finally arrived in the 20th minute. Following a foul near the area, Rodrygo delivered a perfectly floated ball toward the back post where Gonzalo García met it with a header, directing the ball into the bottom-left corner for his first La Liga goal of the season.
After conceding, Betis became more aggressive offensively and began taking more risks in attack. Antony and Deossa both attempted efforts toward goal, but neither managed to test Courtois seriously.
Tensions increased throughout the half, with Angel Ortiz receiving the first yellow card of the match for Betis. Real Madrid, however, remained composed and defensively organized.
In the 39th minute, Tchouaméni briefly worried the crowd after appearing injured and requiring medical attention, although the midfielder was eventually able to continue.
The first half ended with Real Madrid fully in control, leading 1–0 after a disciplined and energetic performance.
Betis made two substitutions at the start of the second half in an attempt to change the rhythm of the game, while Real Madrid returned with a calmer but still confident approach.
The hosts doubled their advantage in the 50th minute through Gonzalo García once again. Valverde delivered an excellent assist, and the young striker finished clinically into the corner after breaking through Betis’ defense.

Only six minutes later, Real Madrid scored a third goal. Rodrygo delivered another dangerous corner, and Raúl Asencio rose highest inside the box to score with a header.
Betis attempted to respond immediately and began creating more opportunities after falling three goals behind. Lo Celso came incredibly close from a free kick that struck the post, giving Madrid an important warning.
The visitors finally found a breakthrough in the 65th minute when Juan Hernández finished confidently after excellent buildup play involving Aitor Ruibal. The goal briefly gave Betis hope of a comeback.
Real Madrid, however, quickly regained control despite increased pressure from the visitors. Courtois produced several important saves as Betis pushed forward searching for another goal.
Rodrygo received a standing ovation in the 76th minute after contributing two assists during the match before being replaced by Arda Güler. Vinicius Jr. was also substituted shortly afterward.
The defining moment of the night arrived late in the match when Gonzalo García completed his hat-trick. Arda Güler delivered a perfectly timed through ball over the defense, and despite the pass slightly running behind him, Gonzalo produced a brilliant improvised finish into the far corner.
The Bernabéu erupted as the young striker secured the first hat-trick of his La Liga career.
Real Madrid were not finished yet. Deep into stoppage time, Fran García added a fifth goal to complete a dominant 5–1 victory for Los Blancos.
The result marked one of Real Madrid’s strongest attacking performances of the season, with Gonzalo García emerging as the standout player of the night. Rodrygo’s creativity, Valverde’s leadership, and Madrid’s defensive organization also played major roles in securing an emphatic victory at the Bernabéu.
